Practical support, live systems upkeep and evidence-led troubleshooting.
I'm interested in how systems operate, how they fail and how to keep them usable. My background combines technical support for private clients, live business upkeep and practical work across Windows, networks and security.
client projects coordinated through completion
physical releases managed through repeatable workflows

customer orders fulfilled through live store operations
01 / PROFILE
PROFILE
I'm practical by nature and genuinely interested in how systems behave in day-to-day use.
Technical support for private clients, live business upkeep and hands-on projects have taught me to work from symptoms toward evidence, keep ownership clear and adapt quickly when the environment is unfamiliar.
I'm looking for daily responsibility around live systems, endpoints and users, where repeated exposure can turn broad foundations into proper depth, stronger judgement and faster troubleshooting.

Turn unclear problems into workable next steps, test what changes and keep the solution usable.
Adjust quickly to new clients, unfamiliar systems and changing constraints without losing the thread.
Keep ownership of the issue, communication and follow-up until the next action is clear.
Look past the symptom to understand the system, the dependency and why the behaviour changed.

Four core projects lead the portfolio, with supporting work showing the wider systems, networking, forensics, security and automation foundation behind them.
Kolektria
Windows Patch-State Collection

PowerShell and Python tooling for collecting Windows update state, normalising host evidence and producing structured JSON and Markdown output for vulnerability-prioritisation research.
- Collects OS, build and installed KB update evidence from Windows hosts.
- Correlates local state with Microsoft security advisory and supersedence data.
- Produces reproducible artefacts for comparison, review and dissertation analysis.
Shadowlock
Debian Secure Data Vault

Individual BSc dissertation project building an offline Linux file-protection system around authenticated encryption, integrity metadata, recovery controls and forensic validation.
- Implemented AES-GCM encryption with per-file key derivation using HKDF.
- Stored protected integrity metadata and maintained an encrypted event ledger.
- Tested access control, integrity verification, teardown and recovery using forensic tooling.
ADBox
Active Directory Infrastructure Lab

Virtualised Windows Server environment built to configure and validate a small internal domain with directory services, client joins, name resolution, policy, shared access and remote administration.
- Configured a Windows Server 2022 Domain Controller and domain-joined clients.
- Validated DNS, DHCP client addressing, Group Policy, shared access and RDP.
- Documented topology, checks, faults, actions and resolution evidence.
N3
Jira Service Management Lab

Jira Service Management environment that converts Windows domain support scenarios into structured, prioritised and transferable cases with SLA tracking, escalation notes and knowledge records.
- Built flows for password resets, lockouts, access, onboarding, networking and RDP.
- Recorded user impact, priority, troubleshooting actions, escalation and resolution.
- Connected repeat issues to handover-ready knowledge documentation.
Supporting Work
FortiSense
Machine Learning Intrusion Detection
IDS prototype comparing Random Forest, Linear SVM and PyTorch models on KDD-style traffic data, then exposing the selected classifier through a controlled TCP inference workflow for live-style testing.
Windows Memory Forensics
Memory Investigation
Windows memory investigation using Volatility and Kali, combining process, service and network artefacts with a Python comparison utility that highlights differences between clean and compromised captures.
Windows Vulnerability Lab
Assessment + StagingBlue
Controlled Windows 7 MS17-010 lab covering discovery, validation, exploitation and credential testing, supported by StagingBlue to reproduce the required PowerShell, SMB, ICMP and registry conditions.
Smart Bin IoT
Connected Waste Monitoring
Arduino smart-bin prototype combining fill level, weight and gas sensing with automated lid control, OLED feedback and Blynk telemetry to demonstrate connected monitoring and collection planning.
Linux Systems Security
Systems + Networking Labs
Practical MSc lab work covering Linux administration, C processes, TCP/IP, sockets, packet capture and stateful firewall rules, with evidence focused on how services and traffic behave.
Cryptography Playground
Browser Cryptography Lab
Browser cryptography lab bringing classical ciphers and modern primitives into one interface, with text and file workflows for hashing, HMAC, RSA and AES to compare transformations and key handling.
Wireless Security
Wireless Assessment Research
Wireless-security study covering WEP, WPA, WPA2, rogue access points, deauthentication and segmentation, using Kali and Wireshark to examine practical assessment workflows and mitigation.
MONITomy
Website Activity Logging
Self-hosted PHP/MySQL monitoring module for my websites, recording visits and selected actions with session, request and device context, then surfacing recent activity through a private operational dashboard.
sOndar
Network Scan Reporting
Python reporting utility built around live Nmap XML evidence, extracting hosts and services, preserving source artefacts, comparing observations across runs and producing readable Markdown reports for review.
04 / EXPERIENCE
EXPERIENCE
Self-employment built around dependable service delivery, client ownership, live operations and practical troubleshooting when technology interrupted the work.

E-commerce Administrator
I run day-to-day e-commerce operations across release setup, listings, stock, customer messages, packing and dispatch, keeping records and sales channels aligned. Alongside fulfilment, I maintain the website and troubleshoot printers, devices, software and connectivity when technical issues interrupt normal operations.
- Fulfilled 2.5k+ customer orders across Shopify, Discogs and Bandcamp through proactive stock, order and dispatch checks.
- Structured 70+ physical releases into repeatable manual workflows with retained records and clear fulfilment steps.
- Maintained listings, inventory and customer records across 3 active sales channels without losing release context.
- Resolved website, printer, device and connectivity issues affecting day-to-day store and fulfilment operations.

06 / PERSONAL
PERSONAL
Outside the technical work, most of my spare time still goes into studying, with music, collecting, guitar and driving somewhere unfamiliar sitting around it.
Studying
I'm highly self-directed and comfortable picking up a new topic, tool or lab without being walked through it. Curiosity about how things work and why they behave the way they do keeps pulling me into new technical areas.
Music
I keep up with niche scenes, independent artists and underground festivals when I have the time. Small rooms and people doing something because they genuinely care about it are usually where I find the most interesting stuff.
Media
I collect physical music and have somehow ended up with 2,000+ releases. I catalogue everything through Discogs, keep the archive in order and regularly disappear into fixing editions, metadata and missing details.
Guitar
I'm self-taught and mostly play for myself. I like having a guitar nearby while listening to a podcast or learning something new and just playing without breaking focus.
Exploration
I like driving somewhere unfamiliar, especially rivers, quiet natural areas and forgotten places. The appeal is simply finding somewhere overlooked and seeing what's there.
